While I'm uncertain about the future of Maru and Kiruko's friendship or relationship, their mischievous adventures never fail to entertain me. They often resemble a cute pair of siblings constantly bickering, though moments like these make me question that perception.
The encounter between Maru and Totori was peculiar, hinting at Totori potentially being a human-hybrid like the children at the Institute. It remains unclear whether Maru and Kiruko's story unfolds in the same timeline as the Institute's. If the Institute exists in the past, there's a possibility that Totori originated from there.
The unexpected sight of floating feet behind the medical curtain sent shivers down my spine. The sharp contrast between Tokio's supernatural experience in the medical room and Maru and Kiruko's life-threatening bear encounter is captivating. Each of them faced distinct levels of fear. While Maru and Kiruko's near-death experience brought them closer together, Tokio was left unnerved by her encounter with a ghostly presence. It's fascinating to observe how fear can manifest differently in individuals. The enigmatic figure Tokio witnessed in the room was equally terrifying, leaving me with numerous unanswered questions.
However, the scene following the episode left me pondering over several inquiries and theories. It has been confirmed that Tokio is a girl and is engaged in an affair with Kona. Could her frequent vomiting and nightmares be indicative of a possible pregnancy? If so, and if the Institute's timeline exists in the past, could Totori be her daughter? I couldn't help but notice their striking resemblance.
