Following a year of dating rumors, Blackpink Jennie and V from BTS were photographed holding hands in Paris.

Perhaps a K-pop mega pair just came out. After more than a year of dating speculations, Jennie from Blackpink and V (Kim Tae-hyung) from BTS were photographed holding hands while out for a stroll in Paris.

On his TikTok account, the French reporter Amar Taoualit posted video of them strolling through the city. He confirmed to those who questioned him that the couple he spotted strolling along the Seine was Jennie and V:

The sighting was also reported by LaineyGossip, who described it as romance confirmation given that they engaged in PDA while in a public setting.

Speculation When V initially followed Jennie via Instagram before unfollowing her, their relationship on the platform officially started in December 2021.

Shortly after, according to All Korean pop, V published a statement on Weverse and said that had been an unintentional follow, instantly dispelling the suspicions. Is there a way to remove the'recommended' friends list on this Instagram thing, he enquired? It's a frightening app.

When a picture of what appeared to have been Jennie with V driving while out on a date on the Jeju island leaked online in May of 2022, the dating allegations resurfaced. In August and September, further private images of Jennie and V, who appeared to be traveling together and having fun together in various locations, surfaced. See here for a detailed analysis of the images and the subtle cues fans noticed connecting V and Jennie romantically.

Notably, neither V's nor Jennie's agency have refuted relationship rumors. In May 2022, Jennie's management company, YG Entertainment, stated to the media, "We have absolutely nothing to add [regarding this matter]." If we've got an alternate response to share, we will let you know. Big Hit Music, V's manager, declined to comment.

In October, YG Entertainment did issue a statement declaring that it would take legal action against anyone sharing private images of Jennie. According to a statement released by the agency, "We chose to refrain from mentioning the issue or making a public announcement so as to minimize further damage," according to Korea JoongAng Daily. "However, those private photographs have sparked indiscriminate gossip, criticism, assaults, sexual harassment, and breaches of personal life."

The organization claimed that it had already filed lawsuits against people who had published "malicious posts, or individuals which frequently upload unconfirmed claims."

"The photos [of the Jennie] distributed internet were made public unlawfully, without Jennie's consent," the statement stated. Sharing the pictures is a form of secondary victimization that is punishable by law.
